I'm Chase.  I'm a writer.

Writing is hard.  If you thought otherwise, you've been believing a lie.

Don't get me wrong.  It's tons of fun.  I've been writing half my life in one way or another - long enough to know the inner turmoil that comes with the territory.  You think your stuff is good.  You get up to pee.  When you get back, you become convinced that the same material could not be anymore craptastic.

Several months ago I began writing a novel - my first really.  Believe me.  I'm under no delusion finishing the novel let alone getting published is going to be a lot of rainbows and bubble gum (the good kind that doesn't lose its flavor the second you start chewing).

That's right.  It's going to be a long and difficult road full of promise and disappointment.  Drama will lurk behind every twist and turn.  I'll even share some reviews of books, writing tools, etc I come across along the way.

I know I'm not alone in this.  My hope is if you are reading this, you may be trudging through the same battlefields.  Join me friends.  Together we will conquer our demons while we create far scarier ones for our readers.
